Every week students learn live with a qualified Computer Science teacher in a small group, where they are given structured tasks and work collaboratively with others. Work is adapted so students who are flying ahead are not left bored, and those who are struggling are supported.
Then between lessons, our online platform supports them with homework assignments and interactive, engaging activities to keep the learning going – giving them opportunities to practise what they’ve learned, revisit difficult topics, and build their confidence.

What happens during the consultation?
You’ll speak directly with Harvey, who will explain how our tutoring works, answer your questions, and discuss your child’s current situation, goals, and any areas they’re struggling with. Your child is welcome to attend, though this is optional.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes, completely. And there is no obligation to proceed after the consultation.
Do I need a consultation? I just want my child to get started.
We usually recommend you speak to us first, as it’s a chance to learn more about the specifics and adapt their lessons to their needs. However, you can go ahead and sign up directly here. What year groups/exam boards do you teach?
We currently offer GCSE Computer Science tutoring designed for students in Years 9, 10 and 11 studying one of AQA 8525, Cambridge OCR J277, or Pearson Edexcel 1CP2. Students can join at different points throughout their GCSE journey and our online platform means that students can access exam-specific materials at any time in any year group.
Do you offer 1:1 lessons?
We don’t – because our group classes are so lovingly crafted to provide the optimal education. It isn’t a classroom in your average secondary school – the groups are a team of highly motivated, ambitious students working side by side.
Is the tutoring suitable for students who are struggling or already doing well?
Both. Our tutoring is designed to support students at all levels. For students who are struggling, we focus on building strong foundations, filling gaps in their understanding, and developing confidence. For students who are already doing well, we help them deepen their understanding, tackle more challenging problems and maximise their exam performance.
During the consultation, we’ll discuss where your child is currently and what they’re aiming to achieve, so we can determine whether our programme is the right fit for them.
Is this suitable for children with SEND?
Yes. We adapt explanations, activities, pacing and support where appropriate so that students with SEND can take part and make progress. If your child has specific needs, we can discuss these during the consultation and work out whether our approach is suitable.
When do the classes take place?
Our Year 11 class currently takes place on Thursdays at 8pm. We’re currently finalising the timetable for Years 9 and 10, and we’ll discuss the available options during your consultation.
How many students are in each class?
Groups have a maximum of 8 students, giving your child the opportunity to learn alongside others while still receiving support and guidance from Harvey.
What happens if my child misses a class?
If your child is unable to attend a lesson, they can catch up using the weekly resources on our website, including homework assignments and revision notes. These provide the material they need to review what was covered and keep up with the programme.
How much does tutoring cost?
Our tutoring costs £127 per month, paid through a simple monthly subscription. This includes your child’s weekly live Computer Science lesson, access to our interactive learning platform, and the resources and support that come with the programme.
